Nobody is perfect – translators are no exception. So it is a good idea to have a translated document thoroughly checked by an experienced translation proofreader to ensure the translated document is true to the original on all levels.

When translating a text, translators have a choice of many different words or expressions. Apart from being fluent in their second language, they must be creative masters of their first language in order to choose the expressions that communicate the message of the original text to the specific target audience.

As part of my proofreading service you will receive two documents:

• A »tracked« version highlighting all the changes and corrections and, if applicable, relevant comments as to why these changes were made. You can then decide wether you want to accept or decline my changes.
  
• A »clean« version for immediate use.
